Activities Co-ordinator

We are recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator, come and join our team!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to organise and implement an activities programme for our busy day care facility. The successful applicant will ensure our visitors and 6 care home residents are able to participate in a varied programme of leisure activities and social events that are tailored to their individual needs. The applicant will understand how to overcome the obstacles of ageing and disabilities to ensure that everyone we support can have the opportunity to pursue their interests and hobbies.

This position requires someone with a creative flair, who is a hard-working person with excellent communication skills. Applicants will be able to show evidence of experience of work in a similar environment and the range of activities that they can implement.

The successful candidate will work co-operatively with others in the team to meet and support the additional needs of visitors and residents during activities and share our values of “Working together, Enhancing lives”.

Day care apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team and support our residents and day visitors to participate in a varied activities programme, to promote their physical and emotional well-being. 

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable and will have a genuine interest in the care and support of older people and those with disability. Working closely with the activities co-ordinator and our care team you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve a Level 2 in Health and Social Care. You will be quick to embrace our values of “Working together, Enhancing lives.”

Candidates will need to have excellent written and verbal communication as well as an interest and ability in arts and crafts, baking, music etc As importantly, you will have a sense of fun and be confident working independently with small groups of people in order to support people to pursue their interests.

Bank Staff Positions Available Now!

We are recruiting to our bank team, would you like to join us? Our shifts are from 8am -3pm or 8am -8pm. Previous experience is desirable but full training will be given if you have the right qualities we are looking for!
